Why this week

What does a life in flow feel like?

Maybe the year moved faster than you. Maybe your mind keeps working even on vacation. This week invites you to slow down below the pace of your everyday life, and to feel what happens then.

A simple, steady rhythm: meditation in the morning, Tai Chi mid-morning, hiking above the lake in the afternoon, stillness in between. Autumn in Ticino makes it easy to begin. You don't need to be able to do anything. It's enough to arrive.

The Programme

Few elements. Real impact.

The days are deliberately not packed. Repetition carries deeper than variety.

Tai Chi

Practice twice a day: 90 minutes in the morning, a shorter session in the afternoon. Slow, continuous, at your own pace, building step by step through the week.

Meditation

The day begins and ends in stillness. An hour of pranayama and sitting in the morning, meditation with gentle movement in the evening.

Hiking Above the Lake

Afternoons in the hills of Ticino. Walking, Tai Chi outdoors, and meditation in the landscape.

Daoist Acupressure

One-on-one sessions with Lisa on the free Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Deep, gentle work on the body's channels. Optional, on request.

Fire Ceremony

On Friday evening we gather around the fire. A quiet, simple close to the week. Whatever you don't want to carry home, you can leave there.

Space & Community

A small group of 10 people, shared meals, and free time with no fixed programme.

The Place

Above Lake Lugano.

The family-run Hotel Panorama sits in Pugerna, a small village on the hillside above Lake Lugano, on the Swiss side of Ticino. Quiet, wide views and water frame the week.

Practice happens in the bright 70 m² yoga hall, equipped with mats, blankets, cushions and chairs for anyone who prefers to sit raised. You'll stay in a single room right in the house. That applies to everyone.

  • Family-run house
  • Yoga hall 70 m²
  • Lake views & mountain air
Getting There by Public Transport+

The Schedule

Seven days, one rhythm.

Sunday to Saturday: six nights, seven days. The heart of the week follows the same quiet pattern every day. That's exactly where its strength lies.

Wednesday · The Free Afternoon

The usual morning rhythm continues, with meditation and Tai Chi. The afternoon is yours: the lake, a book, a conversation. Or book a one-on-one Daoist acupressure session with Lisa (1:30–3:00 PM or 3:30–5:00 PM, for an additional fee).

Friday · Free Afternoon & Fire Ceremony

Like Wednesday, the afternoon stays free: time for yourself, or another acupressure session with Lisa. At 8:00 PM we close the week together around the fire. A ritual of letting go before the journey home.

Saturday · Closing

8:00 AM Meditation 9:15 AM Tai Chi 10:45 AM Brunch 12:00 PM Closing circle & departure

Every session is an invitation. If you want to sit one out, sit it out, that's practice too. Meals are organic with regional ingredients: breakfast brunch, an afternoon snack of fruit and nuts, shared dinner. Water, coffee and tea are included.

„I had my first Chi Gong session with Lisa and it was a truly beautiful experience. I reached a deep state of relaxation, yet at the same time felt surprisingly energized by the end, with a sense of inner peace that I don't usually achieve through meditation. The flow of Chi felt very tangible: warmth in the hands, a gentle tingling, almost like touching energy directly. It was both grounding and subtle at once, and left me feeling centered and restored. She creates a calm, attentive space that makes it easy to let go and fully experience the practice. I'm genuinely curious to continue exploring this discipline."

Lisa Lee guiding a retreat

Who guides you

Leading retreats isn't a side offering for me. It's home.

I'm from Germany and live nomadically, moving between Europe and Bali. Over the past four years I've led three silent retreats and three Tai Chi and meditation retreats, in Germany, Spain and India, ranging from three days to four weeks in length.

Every Week in Flow carries that experience within it. I know how to hold a space so people can truly arrive, whether it's for three days or two weeks. That's exactly the experience I bring into October in Ticino.

Questions

Good to know

Do I need prior experience in Tai Chi or meditation?+

No. The week welcomes beginners and still holds depth for experienced practitioners. It's about showing up, nothing else.

How do I get to Pugerna?+

The easiest way is by public transport: train to Lugano, then bus or taxi. You'll find the details in the "The Place" section above, under "Getting There by Public Transport".

Will I get a single room?+

Yes. Everyone stays in a single room right at Hotel Panorama, included in the price.

What does the Plus package's follow-up conversation include?+

The online conversation, held about 4 weeks after the retreat, can be used flexibly: as a Tai Chi refresher or as energetic follow-up support. We'll agree on the content together shortly beforehand.

How does registration work, and what happens if I cancel?+

Registration opens September 1, 2026. You'll receive all details on deposit, payment deadlines and cancellation terms personally by email once you join the waitlist.

Is the acupressure a medical treatment?+

No. Daoist acupressure is an energetic, relaxing form of support. It does not replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment and makes no claim to heal.
